Esports Association
of Hong Kong, China
Esports Association of Hong Kong, China (ESAHK) was spontaneously established in 2015 by a group of experienced stakeholders in the esports industry. It is now the most influential non-profit organization in Hong Kong's esports sector. Since its inception, the association has seen continuous growth in membership and rapid development of its activities, thanks to the support and concern from various stakeholders in the Hong Kong esports community, including esports companies, internet cafes, esports product agents, retail stores, game and software developers, as well as individuals from all walks of society.
Since 2021, ESAHK has become a member of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), serving as the only recognized entity responsible for selecting esports athletes to participate in international competitions. At the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2023, we led the Hong Kong team to win a silver medal in the game of Dream Three Kingdoms II. We are actively preparing to participate in the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya in 2026 and the Olympic Esports Games 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In addition to promoting eSports and implementing related education, ESAHK also places great importance on the physical and mental well-being of our members. Therefore, we regularly organize various sports-related activities to encourage active participation from the public, support the government's initiative of National Sports Day, and enhance the overall health level of the community.
